MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - A Manchester man has been found guilty of fatally stabbing another man outside a nightclub two years ago.
WMUR-TV reported (https://bit.ly/2m20Vir ) Wednesday that Joel Martin was convicted of second-degree murder and a pair of second-degree assault counts in the May 2015 stabbing death of 29-year-old Darrell Robinson.
Prosecutors say Martin fought with Robinson and then later stabbed him with a knife outside Club Drynk, now known as Whiskey’s 20, in order to teach Robinson a lesson.
The blade punctured Robinson’s heart and left lung.
Witnesses reported seeing Martin holding a knife moments before the stabbing.
Defense attorneys said someone else stabbed Robinson though, and that injuries Martin suffered happened during a melee earlier in the evening.
