BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Authorities say they’ve arrested a woman who shot and wounded two people in Baton Rouge.

The Advocate reports (https://bit.ly/2pw4mBw) 21-year-old Taishianna Francois was arrested Sunday and charged with attempted first-degree murder in connection to the shooting of a 17-year-old and a 21-year-old.

Baton Rouge Emergency Medical Services spokesman Mike Chustz says the 17-year-old was shot in the midsection and 21-year-old was shot in the finger. He says both were brought to the hospital and are expected to survive.

It’s unclear if Francois has an attorney.
