TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - An Arizona congresswoman who is a retired U.S. Air Force officer and pilot plans to participate in a rescue training exercise hosted by Davis-Monthan Air Force in Tucson.

Rep. Martha McSally’s office says she’ll participate in the Angel Thunder exercise Friday by playing the role of the pilot who has a back injury after being shot down.

McSally was an A-10 pilot who flew numerous combat missions.
