NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) - Authorities in Virginia say they’re investigating what appears to be damage from gunfire found in an elementary school classroom.
The Daily Press reports (https://bit.ly/2q5eDXE) officers responded to B.C. Charles Elementary School in Newport News after receiving a report of damage to an aluminum-sided trailer Tuesday.
Newport News police spokesman Harold Eley says officers met with the principal, who told them a teacher discovered a window that appear to have bullet holes.
Police found several holes in the exterior and interior panes of glass.
