WASHINGTON (AP) - A Washington woman says a parking pass was stolen from her car after one of its windows was shattered.
Local news reports in recent weeks multiple parking permits have been stolen from cars in a southwest Washington neighborhood.
WRC-TV reports Annie Morgan is one victim who had a visitor parking pass taken from her car. She took photos on Saturday of the driver’s side window thieves broke into.
WTOP-FM reports the thefts began on April 23 when a visitor pass was missing from a Toyota Prius with a shattered window. The most recent incident announced by Metro Police involves a Nissan that had its driver’s side window smashed and one parking permit stolen on Tuesday.
Washington’s transportation department issues visitor passes, which allow guests to park in neighborhoods.
