PASADENA, Calif. (AP) - Pasadena police are looking for a stolen pickup truck that contained a reserve officer’s semiautomatic handgun, ammunition and other equipment including a ballistic helmet and vest, a duty belt and gas mask.

The Pasadena Police Department says it is reviewing whether the handgun was properly secured at the time of the theft, which occurred between 4:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Wednesday.

The vehicle is described as a white, 2000 Ford F250 crew cab pick-up with a matching camper shell. The California license plate number is 6J54905.
