CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) - Artists from across Cambridge are opening their doors to the curious.

The 9th Annual Cambridge Arts Open Studios takes place Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.

There are dozens of locations across the city where more than 100 artists will be showing their work, including paintings, photography, textiles, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, mosaics, masks and collage. Many of the artists will be putting up some of their work for sale.

There will also be performances, installations and readings from writers and poets.

Some artists will also be offering demonstrations of how they produce their art throughout the weekend.

Those who want to get a taste of the scope of the art being shown across the city can start by stopping by the Cambridge Arts Association for a showcase exhibit.
