COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - A Colorado Springs police officer driving a marked cruiser hit a woman in a crosswalk in front of City Hall.
Authorities say the officer was making a left turn when he struck the woman Friday night.
The woman was treated at a hospital for minor injuries.
Sgt. Joel Kern tells KKTV-TV that the unidentified officer will return to duty, but the accident will be investigated.
Kern says the officer could be ticketed if he’s found to be at fault.
