DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) - Authorities have charged a 17-year-old with the shooting death of another teenager in Davenport.
Police say the boy was arrested Saturday and is charged with first-degree murder and robbery. The Associated Press generally doesn’t name juveniles accused of crimes.
Police say the boy and another person met 17-year-old Akeim Hill in a parking lot just before noon Friday. A fight broke out, and Hill was shot twice. He was pronounced dead later at a hospital.
Police are looking for the second person who was fighting with Hill.
