LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Police say one person was hospitalized after a shooting at a bar in west Little Rock early Monday.

Little Rock police say the shooting happened at about 1:45 a.m. at the West End Smokehouse & Tavern. According to a police report, the shooting was apparently linked to an argument that began over a game of pool.

The police report says a 28-year-old man was shot twice in the abdomen and was taken to a Little Rock hospital.

Police say the suspected shooter fled before officers arrived, and no arrests have been announced.
