ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A man who was convicted in a wrong-way crash that killed two women was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

The Orlando Sentinel reports (https://bit.ly/2pPR2Hz ) a judge handed 66-year-old Terry Dinkins the maximum sentence Monday, citing Dinkins’ inability to accept responsibility.

Dinkins was convicted of DUI manslaughter in the death of Brandi Cole and Silvia Barajas in April. He was driving in the wrong direction on State Road 436 in 2015 when his car collided with a vehicle driven by Cole.

According to his arrest report, Dinkins’s blood-alcohol limit was twice the legal limit.

Cole was a mother of four and worked at Royal American Management. Barajas was a mother of three who worked as a manager at Big Lots.
