TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Tucson are searching for a suspect wanted in a shooting last week that has turned fatal.

They say 27-year-old Nathan Mayo should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police say 17-year-old Carl Thompson was found shot in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant on May 8 and died last Saturday.

They say a woman was dropped off at the restaurant by Mayo to meet with her boyfriend and his family.

While in the parking lot, police say an argument ensued between Mayo, the boyfriend and Thompson, who was the boyfriend’s brother.

Police say Mayo pointed a handgun at the boyfriend before allegedly shooting Thompson.

They say Mayo originally was wanted on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, but more charges are pending since Thompson has died.
