GLEN ULLIN, N.D. (AP) - The American Red Cross is distributing bottled water in Glen Ullin this week as city and public health crews work to disinfect the town’s water system.

The Bismarck Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/2reKN3V ) that a dead mouse was found floating in an underground water storage tank on Monday. No illnesses have been reported.

The city is under a boil order, meaning anyone who plans to consume tap water should boil it first. The water is safe for toilet flushing and showering.

The Health Department says it will be Thursday at the earliest before the boil order can be lifted.
