PHOENIX (AP) - In a story May 17, The Associated Press reported that prosecutors had thrown out the case against the suspect in a series of freeway shootings that rattled Phoenix in 2015. The case was dismissed by a judge at the request at prosecutors, but the investigation remains ongoing and they still have the option to bring new charges against the suspect.
