NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Authorities say they’re searching for a suspect in connection with a string of robberies at several 7-Elevens and a Super China restaurant.
Media outlets report that Norfolk police said in a news release that the robberies started May 4 when a man walked into a 7-Eleven with a gun and demanded money from a clerk. The latest robbery occurred May 12 at a Super China restaurant, where an employee was shot. The man was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Norfolk Police Department spokesman Daniel Hudson says the suspect is also wanted for robberies in Virginia Beach.
