MOUNT POCONO, Pa. (AP) - A Pennsylvania police officer whose wife is charged with hiring a hit man to kill him to help her conceal her affair with a 14-year-old boy now faces charges that he threatened the teen.
Keith Transue, of Mount Pocono, was charged Wednesday with felony counts of witness intimidation and other charges.
His wife, Robin Transue, faces sex assault charges as well as solicitation to commit murder.
According to court records, she gave an informant plans on how to kill her husband, including a drug overdose or a hunting accident. She told him her husband threatened to expose her 2010 relationship with the boy if she left him.
The victim, now 20, told police Keith Transue asked him details of the relationship and threatened his parents not to tell authorities.
