OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say the body of an Oregon teenager has been recovered from the Clackamas River.
The Sandy Police Department said Tuesday the medical examiner confirmed the body was 18-year-old Brandon Powell. He had last been seen March 12 at his home in Estacada.
Family members told investigators that Powell appeared to have a panic attack after consuming marijuana extract. He left home wearing only pajama pants.
The medical examiner has yet to determine the cause of death. Police say there are no signs of foul play.
Powell was a student at Clackamas Community College.
