PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia police say a woman found dead in her apartment suffered facial and neck injuries and likely died days before her body was found.
Police have yet to release the name of the 53-year-old woman found Monday in her apartment in northeast Philadelphia.
Her body was found after police were asked to check on the woman because she hadn’t been heard from in more than a week.
Police say there’s no sign anyone forced their way into her apartment or robbed the woman.
