DEATSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - An Alabama inmate who escaped and spent a week on the lam is back in custody.

State prison officials say 38-year-old Bobby Lee Taylor was captured Monday in the Elmore County town of Deatsville.

Taylor escaped from a work-release center in Loxley a week earlier. He was captured without incident by U.S. marshals acting on a tip.

Taylor was convicted of second-degree theft in Elmore County in 2007. He is serving a 20-year sentence.

A statement from the Department of Corrections says an inmate who escaped with Taylor is still on the loose. That man is identified as 29-year-old Ryan Edward Wilson, who is serving two years for theft in Jackson County.
