CAMPOBELLO ISLAND, New Brunswick (AP) - The Roosevelt Campobello International Park is moving its popular “Open Tea with Eleanor Roosevelt” program to a new location.

The park is now holding one open event each day at the historic Wells-Shober Cottage instead of two smaller events at a separate location. Two daily reserved teas are also held at the cottage.

The events provide an opportunity for guides to talk about Eleanor Roosevelt’s years of activism and public service while participants enjoy her favorite blend of tea and homemade cookies served on fine china on linen-covered tables.

The park on Campobello Island, New Brunswick, is just across the border from Lubec, Maine. Its focal point is the summer cottage of the late first lady and U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It’s jointly operated by the U.S. and Canada.
