BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Two people died in separate weekend crashes in eastern Montana.

The Montana Highway Patrol tells The Billings Gazette that a 16-year-old boy died in a rollover crash on a muddy Meeteetse Trail southeast of Red Lodge on Saturday afternoon.

Carbon County Sheriff Josh McQuillan says 16-year-old Nicholas Ethan Smith was partially ejected and died at the scene. The others in the vehicle - an 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy from Red Lodge and a 17-year-old boy from Bridger - were not injured.

The patrol tells KULR-TV that 67-year-old Eugene Schwartz of Billings died Sunday morning after his motorcycle ran into the back of another bike at an intersection southeast of Hardin. The patrol says a 66-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman on the second bike sustained minor injuries.
