PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia police say a man was taken to a hospital in critical condition after an officer shocked him with a stun gun.

Police say the man fought back as officers were trying to put him in handcuffs following a report of a domestic assault Sunday. An officer used his stun gun and the man fell to the ground unresponsive.

Police say officers performed CPR until medics arrived. They say medics were able to revive him before he was taken to the hospital.

The names of the injured man and the officers involved have not been released.
