BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The Benedictine Health System is officially opening the doors to its $25 million expansion of its assisted living campus in Bismarck.
Benedictine says the St. Gabriel’s expansion is its largest building investment in the state. The expansion triples the size of its current campus in Bismarck. Construction led by Olaf Anderson of Fargo began in March 2016. The expanded chapel includes corpus handmade by the renowned Demetz Art Studio in Ortisei, Italy.
Benedictine is a faith-based, nonprofit senior care system that operates facilities in Bismarck, Dickinson, Garrison, Ellendale, Wahpeton and La Moure in North Dakota.
Bishop David Kagan is among those attending Wednesday’s ribbon cutting.
