BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - A 19-year-old New York mother has admitted to fatally stabbing her child’s father.
Erie County prosecutors say Kearra Bailey of Buffalo pleaded guilty in state Supreme Court Tuesday to a charge of first-degree manslaughter.
Bailey stabbed 19-year-old Shaundez Davis in the back in November as the two argued in her home. Bailey and Davis are the parents of a 1-year-old girl.
Bailey faces up to 25 years in prison when she is sentenced Aug. 15.
