CARBONDALE, Kan. (AP) - Fire officials have identified the victim of a deadly northeast Kansas fire as an 89-year-old man.

KSNT-TV (https://bit.ly/2qdaj9T ) reports that the Kansas Fire Marshal’s Office has identified Roger Edgar as the man killed early Monday in Carbondale. A dog was also died in the fire.

The cause of the blaze is undermined and still under investigation.

The total property loss is $75,000.
