WELLSTON, Okla. (AP) - A 36-year-old man has died following a two-car collision in central Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Joseph Michael Blazier of Oakhurst, Oklahoma, was killed in Friday’s collision in Lincoln County.

Troopers say the collision occurred at 4:39 p.m. on Interstate 44 west of Wellston when an SUV driven by Blazier collided with a second vehicle.

The patrol says Blazier was pronounced dead at the scene and that four passengers in his vehicle, including three children aged 9 years to 10 months, were injured. The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.

Details of the collision were not immediately available, but the patrol says seat belts were in use in both vehicles.

Troopers say its cause of the collision is under investigation.
