HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) - Authorities say one of three men who kicked in the door at a North Carolina home has been shot and killed by someone inside.
High Point police told media outlets the men were demanding their money after breaking down the door around 3 a.m. Sunday.
Investigators say 21-year-old Christopher Gidderon was shot and killed as the men who broke in got in a shootout with people inside the home. No one else was hurt.
Police say they are still investigating the shooting and no charges have been filed.
