PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities say a 14-year-old boy was shot to death and a 16-year-old youth was later found wounded nearby in Philadelphia.

Police say gunshots were reported just after 9:30 p.m. Monday in the Kensington section northeast of the city center.

Officers found 14-year-old Tymier Fraiser unresponsive on the street. He was taken by police to St. Christopher’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police found the 16-year-old a block away with a gunshot wound to his left shoulder. He was taken to the same hospital and listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been reported and investigators say they don’t know the motive for the gunfire. The police homicide unit is investigating.
