HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Police in Henderson have arrested a woman suspected of killing her 65-year-old mother.
Henderson police spokesman Scott Williams says 26-year-old Carly Kalbfleisch of Henderson was booked into jail Tuesday for suspicion of open murder.
He says she was arrested without incident after police responded to a report of domestic violence at a residence near Liberty High School at about 12:20 p.m. Tuesday.
Her mother, whose name has not been released, was found dead inside the home after suffering multiple, undisclosed injuries.
Williams says the cause of death will be determined by the county coroner. No other details have been released.
It wasn’t immediately clear if Kalbfleisch has a lawyer or will be appointed a public defender at a pending court appearance.
