LAKEVILLE, Minn. (AP) - A Lakeville woman who says she rescues foxes from fur farms may lose her permit to keep the animals on her 10-acre property.
The city says Mikayal Raines has too many foxes on her property. She’s allowed to keep three foxes.
Raines tells the St. Paul Pioneer Press (https://bit.ly/2pdw8BG ) she has five foxes and three babies which she is bottle feeding. The 22-year-old says she plans to ask the city to amend her permit and allow her to keep the animals since her property is zoned agricultural.
A city planning commission holds a hearing on the permit violation Thursday evening.
