Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price said Thursday that he believes the votes are there to pass the Republicans health care bill out of the House.

“It feels like it,” Mr. Price said on Fox News.

He said the plan will lower costs and increase coverage, which Republicans will be able to demonstrate as it moves through the process.

“The overall plan will bring down costs and will allow for more individuals to be covered than are now,” he said. “As it moves through the process we’ll be able to demonstrate that.”

The health secretary also said that he believes the Senate will enhance the plan when it reaches their chamber.

“The Senate is going to engage, once this gets through the House, in a very positive and productive way,” he said.
