CHESAPEAKE, Va. (AP) - Authorities say a Chesapeake Public School bus was damaged in a hit-and-run crash.

News outlets report that Chesapeake Police spokesman Leo Kosinski said in a news release that a silver four-door sedan struck the school bus at an intersection Thursday.

The sedan left the scene, but witnesses were able to provide police with the vehicle’s license plate number.

Police say students were on the bus when the crash occurred. No injuries were reported and the bus suffered minimal damage.
