HELENA, Mont. (AP) - A Montana woman was killed when a tree struck her during a weekend thunderstorm.

Lewis and Clark County Coroner Bryan Backeberg says 41-year-old Johnna Bissett suffered the fatal injury Saturday afternoon at a campsite south of Elliston.

Backeberg says Bissett had been camping and fishing in the area with family and friends when a severe thunderstorm caught them off guard. She was reportedly running back to camp when a tree broke, striking her on the head. She died on the way to the hospital.
