JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Authorities say a 23-year-old man has been fatally shot in Jefferson City.

Police said in a news release that the victim, Taveeon Fowler, was suffering from gunshot wounds when officers responded Monday night to call about multiple shots being fired. Fowler was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say no one has been arrested but that officers are following several leads. Anyone with information is urged to call police.
