BRENTWOOD, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire authorities have released the name of a man who was accidentally shot to death by a juvenile during target practice earlier this month.

The Rockingham County attorney’s office said Monday that 51-year-old Christopher Shewokis was with an adult friend and a juvenile at the Deer Run Wildlife Management Area in Brentwood on Nov. 4. While the other adult adjusted the targets, Shewokis loaded the gun and handed it the juvenile.

The revolver discharged accidentally, and Shewokis was hit in the chest. The death has been ruled accidental.
