Maryland wide receiver D.J. Moore was named first-team All-Big Ten Wednesday, becoming the first Terrapin wideout to earn the honor.

Moore caught 80 receptions for 1,033 yards as a junior — with four different quarterbacks throwing him the ball.

Maryland moved to the Big Ten in 2014. Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs, a former Maryland product, was named to the conference’s second team in 2014.

Moore, who led the Big Ten in receptions and yards, set a school record for catches.

Maryland left tackle Derwin Gray and running back Ty Johnson earned honorable mentions in the Big Ten.

The Terrapins went 4-8 this season, 2-7 in the Big Ten.
