BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Prosecutors say a Boise woman has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in connection with the 2016 killing of a man found dead in his vehicle in the Boise foothills.

According to the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office, 45-year-old Francis M. March entered the plea Tuesday. She is scheduled for sentencing in March.

Prosecutors say March drugged 61-year-old Mark Irwin and then suffocated him with a plastic bag. Authorities say March then wrapped Irwin’s body in a plastic tarp and drove the body to the Boise foothills in Irwin’s vehicle and left it there.

Irwin’s body was found the next day in his van in the Boise foothills

March and 20-year-old Anthony Barclay of Boise were arrested amid suspicion they stole items from Irwin. Barclay has since pleaded guilty to three felonies related to the case.
