Henderson police searching for driver that crashed into girl

HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Henderson police are looking for the driver who crashed into an 8-year-old girl leaving her in critical condition.

According to police, a silver Dodge Charger hit the girl as she was walking across a road Tuesday night.

They say the driver fled the scene without helping the girl or calling 911.

The girl was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition.
