BURLINGTON, N.C. (AP) - A teen has been found shot to death in a car in North Carolina.

Assistant Burlington Police Chief Chris Verdeck said in a news release that officers were called to a shooting Tuesday night.

They found 17-year-old Travonte Contrell Compton, who was declared dead at the scene.



Police say they are looking for another 17-year-old male in the shooting.

Police have not released a possible motive in the shooting.
