CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire’s in for some chilly, gusty weather.

A cold front Thursday night was expected to give way to snow showers or a squall in the northern part of the state. Some rain or snow showers are possible in the rest of New Hampshire.

A wind advisory was issued for New Hampshire and parts of Maine for Friday. Wind gusts are expected to reach 40 miles an hour. The National Weather Service said there are many partially broken trees and branches left over from the last week’s storm that could easily be knocked down, causing scattered power outages.

Wind chills Friday are expected to fall into the teens.
