Actor Terry Crews has reportedly filed a police report in Los Angeles against William Morris Endeavor agent Adam Venit over groping allegations he made public a month ago.

The Los Angeles Police Department has opened an investigation into the sexual assault claim by Mr. Crews, the department confirmed to People magazine Wednesday.

“People have to be held accountable,” the “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star told TMZ, adding that he plans to also file a lawsuit against the perpetrator.

TMZ reported that the man named in Mr. Crews’ police report is Mr. Venit, who has been placed on leave while WME investigates.

On Oct. 10, Mr. Crews unleashed a flurry of tweets accusing a “high-level” Hollywood executive of grabbing his genitals during a Hollywood function in 2016.

“He called me the next day with an apology but never really explained why he did what he did,” the actor wrote. “I decided not 2 take it further [because] I didn’t want [to be] ostracized — par [for] the course when the predator has power [and] influence. I let it go.”
