CINCINNATI (AP) - An Ohio High School coach has resigned amid allegations of inappropriate conduct with a 16-year-old student.

Documents released by the Northwest Local School District Monday allege the former Colerain High School coach met the girl at her home Sept. 25. The girl’s mother says in the documents she came home around 3 p.m. and thought someone was breaking into her home after noticing a commotion.

The girl’s mother says she yelled and the person ran from the home. School documents show the girl later identified the person as the coach.

Officials at the high school in Colerain Township announced the coach’s resignation last week.

Cincinnati police say an investigation is ongoing, but no charges have been filed.

School officials say the student is no longer enrolled.
