FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - A worker at a Massachusetts after-school program has pleaded not guilty to 12 child rape charges involving a minor who does not attend the program.

John Quinn Jr. appeared Thursday in Wrentham District Court. The 28-year-old Foxborough resident is accused of assaulting a child at his home.

Authorities say Quinn works at Plympton Elementary School at the Champions after-school program, an affiliate of KinderCare. KinderCare officials say Quinn is on administrative leave pending the outcome of the criminal case.

Investigators say Quinn and the child knew each other, but not through the after-school program.

A woman who answered a phone number for Quinn hung up on a reporter Thursday.

Quinn posted $5,000 bail. He is under GPS monitoring and orders to stay away from the victim and her relatives.
