MESA, Ariz. (AP) - An Arizona woman who had been missing with her young son since mid-June has been extradited from California to Phoenix.

Authorities say 19-year-old Madeline Jones was arrested at the airport in Phoenix on Thursday afternoon on a warrant.

Jones was detained with her baby by a U.S. Marshal’s task force earlier in October in Ramona, California.

She’s facing charges of custodial interference.

Police say her 1-year-old son is being reunited with his father, who was granted sole custody during the disappearance.

Jones’ parents were also facing charges and are suspected of helping their daughter deny her ex-husband access to his son.
