PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police say a bloody screwdriver and fired cartridge casings were found near a man who was stabbed and shot in a Philadelphia recording studio over the weekend.

A police spokesman said officers responded to the Superior Sounds recording studio in the basement of the building in the Northern Liberties neighborhood just before 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

Officers found a 30-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times and shot in the head and back. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name wasn’t immediately released.

No arrests were immediately announced. The recording studio owner told The Philadelphia Inquirer that he at the police station trying to find out what happened.
