OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - A conference focused on renewable energy will be held at the University of Nebraska at Omaha later this month.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on October 28 at the Milo Bail Student Center on campus.

Experts will discuss the importance of renewable energy to communities and the challenges and benefits electric vehicles might represent.

The event will also feature examples of small-scale solar projects and include tips on options to use solar power in the home.
