DERRY, N.H. (AP) - Police in a New Hampshire town say a church employee has been accused of trying to meet a child for sex.

Police in Derry have charged 20-year-old Kyle Erickson, of Methuen, Massachusetts, with two felony counts of prohibited use of a computer and one of attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault.

WMUR-TV reports the Diocese of Manchester removed Erickson, a worship leader at Saint Matthew Parish in Windham, from the ministry after the arrest last week. He is no longer employed by the parish.

The diocese said is cooperating with the investigation.

It wasn’t immediately known if Erickson has an attorney. A message was left at a phone number.
