ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Sheriff’s officials in Florida say a 5-year-old boy apparently found a relative’s gun inside a vehicle that was parked in a parking lot and accidentally shot himself to death.
Orange County Sheriff’s officials said in a news release that Judah Todman was found inside the vehicle Tuesday afternoon. He was taken to the nearby Florida Hospital East where he was declared dead.
Investigators say the wound appears to be self-inflicted.
Sheriff’s officials say they’re sending the case to the state attorney for further review. No further details were released.
