Police: Woman killed during confrontation with group of men

PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say a 45-year-old woman is dead after being shot, reportedly during a confrontation with a group of men.

Sgt. Mercedes Fortune says police responding Thursday night to a report of a shooting victim located the fatally wounded woman, Crystal Brown, and also the shooting scene at another location.

Fortune says police continue to investigate the shooting and don’t yet have descriptions of the suspects.
