Domestic abuser Floyd Mayweather came to the defense Thursday of President Trump’s language about women, calling them just the words of a real man.

Mr. Mayweather agreed with Mr. Trump’s claims from last fall that his language in the Access Hollywood video — where the tycoon and future president boasted crudely of sexual conquests and grabbing women’s genitals — were mere locker-room talk.

“Real men speak like, ‘Man, she had a fat ass. You see her ass? I had to squeeze her ass. I had to grab that fat ass.’ Right? So he talking locker room talk,” Mr. Mayweather told the Hollywood Unlocked show Thursday.

Mr. Mayweather, one of the greatest pound-for-pound boxers of all time and recent victor over Conor McGregor in the richest fight ever, also expressed surprise that others would think Mr. Trump’s language inappropriate.

“I’m the man, you know what I’m saying? You know who I am. Yeah, I grabbed her by the p—-y. And?” he asked rhetorically.

In 2012, Mr. Mayweather was sentenced to 87 days in jail for beating his ex-girlfriend Josie Harris in front of two of their children. He was released from a Nevada jail after serving two months.
